Nature was in a good mood when she created Gallizien. The very special places here include Lake Linsendorfer See and the Wildenstein waterfall.
At 54 metres, this is the highest free falling waterfall in Europe. Gallizien is also part of the Geoparks Karawanken, and the nearby Hochobir at 2,139 metres above sea level is one of the most beautiful viewing mountains in Carinthia.
Near the Annabrücke bridge cyclists come to the Drau Cycle Path, which winds its way for 366 kilometres from South Tyrol via East Tyrol and Carinthia to Maribor in Slovenia. If you want, you can also practise fly fishing in Gallizien.
