Feldkirchen

The historic Bamberger Amthof is Feldkirchen’s number one cultural and events centre, with concerts, courses, exhibitions and theatre performances. In the Amthofmuseum visitors can go on a journey through the cultural and natural history of the Tiebel town, as Feldkirchen is also known because of the Tiebel stream.

In summer both guests and locals flock to Lake Flatschacher See and Lake Maltschacher See. Both lakes are amongst the warmest swimming lakes in Carinthia, and offer idyllic peace in the heart of nature.

In winter both lakes are transformed into a paradise for ice skaters, ice hockey players and practitioners of traditional curling. Several ski regions are just a short distance away from Feldkirchen: Simonhöhe, Hochrindl, Falkert and Bad Kleinkirchheim.
